FROSTED.

My commute to work this morning was a little elongated as the the entire MBTA public transport system collapsed like a soufflé at a GWAR concert.

The problem was a cable. Extreme cold can cause high loads on the MBTA power system. In this case, the bitter cold weakened an old cable, which began to smolder and create smoke. Shuttle buses were pushed into service and mobs of cold and stranded commuters climbed on board.

It took me two hours to get into the office and by the time I arrived I needed serious defrosting.

Vanilla Spice Latte did the trick!
