First week at Thorntons

Thorntons is Britain's best loved chocolate manufacturer, tempting customers with tantalizingly tasty treats since 1911. After my first week working for this renowned high-street brand I am tuned into the Thorntons ethos and actively engaged in my role as a Graduate Management Trainee. After various 'meet and greet' sessions this week with the Exec team, I am clued up on the strategy and I can gauge where my experience and project work could potentially have a significant impact on the 5 business imperatives. It is a prosperous time for Thorntons as we progress to Re-balance & Grow, Revitalize & Restore so I am enthused by the opportunities heaped on the chocolate clad tables and delighted to be working with such a connected and rosy team of talented professionals.
