Tumour

You can't help but feel like your life is crumpling around you. Your mother, a poignant character throughout your childhood and a guiding figure amidst the precarious avenues of adulthood, is slipping away. It's unfair and entrenching'ly cruel to tear a character of such sparkle from her loved ones. The continuous cycles of treatment and unfortunately bad news are a forceful tug of reality, driving painful splinters of emotion into the minds of family and friends. We simply long for a miraculous recovery and an end Mum's suffering. Meanwhile the tumour is devising it's latest attack to mutate and take further control while rooting into my mothers brain. The neuroscience experts and medical teams attempt to cut, jab, poke and stunt the growth of the malicious bacteria that spawns as a cancerous mass. It's my mum, I want to save her, I'm helpless!
